Cantharellus viscosus

Bigger than C. concinnus, smaller than C. aff. confluens but so far locality seems restricted to the Sunshine coast. The Chanterelles are around the same time that the Bunyas drop.

Closeup of the woven network.

Growing in leaf mulch within a mixed Eucalypt Casuarina forest. Sunshine Coast Qld.

Chanterelles lack true gills, instead they have folds with networks of interwoven veins.

Various shapes and sizes.
